Colin Ferreira // Living Like a Child
On this episode of the Trueface podcast, Robby is with Colin Ferreira. Colin considers himself a regular and practical guy. He is a husband, father of nine children, and owner of a leading chain of optical stores in Trinidad and Tobago, but presently lives in Georgia, USA. For most of his Christian life, Colin served as a senior leader in the churches he attended. However, his passion to see the relevance of God in business led him to become a pioneer in marketplace ministry in the Caribbean region and beyond. Then, his quest to see God as he truly is thrust him unexpectedly down a completely different and challenging path. That experience resulted in a much clearer sense of identity as a Child of God and the book Disrupting Religion. These guys are great!
Every week these guys and those they invite onto the show help me understand myself, my wife, my kids, my co-workers, etc. better. God has used them in my life to show me my pride and arrogance in self-awareness of how I affect those around me. They help guide me to understand how my identity in Jesus can have practical effects on my daily relationships and not just something I know intellectually as a theological statement. Plus these podcasts are all under 15 minutes which I can always fit in on a drive to work. Thank you Bill, Bruce, David, and John!
Must listen to Podcast
Love this! These brothers explain the grace of God in such a rich way. Often I'm taken to a point of thinking, "The gospel can't be THAT good, can it?" But it is and even more so than I can imagine. The Three Amigos will clearly show you how. I thank God for this Podcast!
Such good stuff!
These guys continue to address the issues of my hear with good news as it was meant to be. They come at me a bit fast at times, but between the quips are precious and deep thought honed in the real world and refined in conversations among godly men and women who are respect-worthy.
