Good Topic
I appreciate the topic and two different points of view: that of a former inmate and that of a corrections officer. The prison system is a complex issue that we hear about when we are in election season , or if a television show makes it a pop culture term, or if celebrities make it their mission to speak on it. It is often a quiet burden , carried by the imprisoned and their loved ones who aren’t.
