Try: The Podcast is about people trying to do stuff that matters to them, whether it’s to make themselves or the world a little bit better. We hope you find something of value in these stories, so that the next time you try to do something, it’s a bit more likely to happen. Life’s pretty awesome - ya just gotta try.

Host Chris Wright grew up in Montana, has been working in Google’s marketing department for the past 15 years, is sorta left and right-handed (but not ambidextrous), and currently lives in Colorado with his beautiful wife and 3 boys.

11 - Try playing with Weezer

When I started the podcast I hadn’t planned on doing an episode all about Weezer, but a handful of folks were interested in the story of how I got to play with and record with the band, and it’s one worth telling! Hope you enjoy listening to me chat with my good friend (and musician) Kevin Punzalan, as we recall how our Weezer recordings took place a decade ago.

9 - Try beating cancer and helping others

When I hopped into a Lyft car at the end of a long offsite for work, I didn’t expect to meet someone so inspirational. Eric has faced major health challenges, including cancer, and had recently adopted a puppy named Jocelyn to serve as a support animal of sorts. Despite any hardship, Eric remains focused on his own recovery as well as helping others. I hope you enjoy his positive attitude, humorous stories and words of wisdom as we close out 2018. Thanks all!

8 - Try understanding what makes a podcast great

Join me as I chat with my good friend Mike, as we explore what makes for a great podcast, and what some of the best practices are. You’ll hear from punk rock band NOFX (I reference their song Thank God for Mondays). Bonus content from our kids as they play pool, foosball, and video games at the Google office in Boulder. Finally, we end with a quick discussion about a business Mike and I are trying to get off the ground in 2019.

Very Relatable and Entertaining Content

I discovered Chris' podcast by accident listening to him on A New Angle. And since he's a fellow Montanan and Griz Biz Alum who sold his soul to Silicon Valley, I was curious about his podcast. It hit home. I love trying to help others figure stuff out and solve things, so this was a good start. What is it about Butte guys?, They are awesome story tellers (my best buddy includes fantastic details in all his adventures) and humor is central. The grill cheese negotiations were super spot on, but I personally wouldn't negotiate that hard to make any 2nd born happy cus they'll always be blaming the first born for all problems in life. Look forward to many more episodes from Chris.
