In today's Episode #74, I talk with Freelance Writer and Speaker, Sue Fulmore. We discuss her free resource 4 Best Practices For Connecting With God During Times of Stress. She shows me how to do Breath Prayer, which is a very calming way to relax and ease your mind and soul when stressed.

Sue says she is in that tricky middle of life stage, where her children have grown and left the nest, parents are aging, and the roles which once defined her have shifted and she is learning to live a new kind of life. She is learning how to shift from auto-pilot living to a more intentional and satisfying way of living.

Her desire is to see women grow into freedom from all the things which hold them back from an abundant and joy-filled life of following Jesus. She goes on to say, "Sometimes this means addressing our distorted views of God or ourselves. Often it involves identifying barriers which hide under the surface of our lives, and dismantling our automatic way of living. Sometimes we will discover that freedom comes from less striving and more resting in the God who has everything under control."

Sue is a freelance writer and speaker, seeking to use words to awaken mind and soul to the realities of the present. Like a prospector panning for gold, her aim is to use her pen to uncover beauty and truth hidden just below the surface of our lives. She is the mother of two adult daughters and lives in sunny Alberta, Canada with her retired husband.
