13 episodes

The lost tapes from Glasgow's premier pirate radio station have been found in Jack's mum's loft and have been ripped to mp3 so they could be released as a podcast every Tuesday.

Twelve tapes in all were found in the loft. It all started so well until Jack got in some legal battles with Clyde 102.5 over certain frequency modulations and the lawful ability to broadcast Makina, hardcore and bouncy tunes to the Glaswegian masses.

As technology moved forward the broadcasts became more problematic as shout-outs and voicemails started to overtake the music and Jack couldn't cope with the changes.

It got worse as Jack was let down over several live events he was meant to headline at Archaos. The event 'Dark Matter' was a success - which made things even worse.

Jack's luck seemed to change as he managed to get a two-page spread in Times Out, but an old nemesis, Joe, was the reporter so, Jack packed his bags and moved to London for a change of scene.

That never really worked out either and Jack was back in Glasgow after a few days, before eventually settling down, becoming the most zen pirate radio DJ in Scotland.

    Tape 01 - the bridge

    Tape 01 - the bridge

The lost tapes from Glasgow's premier pirate radio station have been found in Jack's mum's loft and have been ripped to mp3 so they could be released (as a podcast every Tuesday).
The cassette labelled “Tape 01” has been digitally rendered and updated for release. Jack is only just learning the ropes as Glasgow's #1 Pirate DJ. The tunes are amazing and there are no complaints from anyone there.
However, texts start to come through that put Jack off of his stride. And, when people start to arrange "square-gos" at “the bridge” and 10 year-olds somehow manage to get his mobile number, things start to slowly unfold.
People (dafties) also start leaving voicemails and Jack really does wonder how so many different people have managed to get his phone number. By the end of the pirate broadcast, it seems that "Tape 02" was lucky to ever make it to air.

    Tape 02 - seagull obsession

The lost tapes from Glasgow's premier pirate radio station have been found in Jack's mum's loft and have been ripped to mp3 so they could be released (as a podcast every Tuesday).
The cassette labelled “Tape 02” has been digitally rendered and updated for release. The tunes are still amazing - no complaints from anyone again.
However, the texts come in again and people are obsessed by the massive seagulls causing havoc in Glasgow.
There seems to be some sort of fish tank wars going on over Jack’s voicemails and after beating some English guys at Fifa on the Playstation 4, they get his number and are furious - really, really angry - for some reason.
Jack also receives a threat from someone he’s not sure he has ever met?

    Tape 03 - tipp-ex (new sponsor)

The lost tapes from Glasgow's premier pirate radio station have been found in Jack's mum's loft and have been ripped to mp3 so they could be released (as a podcast every Tuesday).
The cassette labelled “Tape 03” has been digitally rendered and updated for release. The tunes are still amazing - no complaints from anyone again.
However, those seagulls are still getting mentions on the text messages and over the voicemails, much to Jack’s discontent.
Jack does manage to get a sponsor for this week - which is a nice little earner.
But, more threats come through, there is a mix up with some of the song requests and Jack feels the pressure getting to him again.

Tape 04 - don't have that one mate

Tape 04 - don't have that one mate

The lost tapes from Glasgow's premier pirate radio station have been found in Jack's mum's loft and have been ripped to mp3 so they could be released (as a podcast every Tuesday).
The cassette labelled “Tape 04” has been digitally rendered and updated for release. The tunes are still pretty amazing - some complaints do start though.
The requests become so obscure that Jack can’t seem to find the tunes - white labels such as “DJ Ruff Style - Every Time I Eat Vegetables It Makes Me Think Of You (A Ramones Cover)” just don’t come easy to find anymore.
The groundwork is laid for Jack’s night at Archaos - Dark Matter - to be a massive success but, as always, there are some really cheeky text messages coming through.

Tape 05 - jack is a greedy boy

The lost tapes from Glasgow's premier pirate radio station have been found in Jack's mum's loft and have been ripped to mp3 so they could be released (as a podcast every Tuesday).
The cassette labelled “Tape 05” has been digitally rendered and updated for release. The tunes are still pretty amazing - Jack's mum isn't happy though.
MC Lockback and DJ Balaclava are being cheeky bastards as per usual on the phone lines.
An old ‘friend’ gets in touch and Jack’s mum is furious that he was a greedy boy and ate all the pancakes.

Tape 06 - too many dicks get in touch

The lost tapes from Glasgow's premier pirate radio station have been found in Jack's mum's loft and have been ripped to mp3 so they could be released (as a podcast every Tuesday).
The cassette labelled “Tape 06” has been digitally rendered and updated for release. The tunes are still pretty amazing - everyone that gets in touch today is a dick though.
Adam from Arden, Billy from Baillieston, Eddy from Easterhouse, that fat f**k Frank, Ricky from Rosshall and Steve from Shawlands all get in touch.
