Stephane was first introduced to the Twilight Saga back in Spring of 2009 when she saw the first movie, Twilight. While on Spring Break holiday, Stephanie borrowed all the books from her sister and ended up reading all four of them within five days. She was hooked and has read the complete series a total of six times.
In November of 2009, Cliff decided to read the series along with her to find out what she found so fascinating about this story. Cliff was shocked to find that he really enjoyed the story as well and they decided that they would podcast about each of the books chapter by chapter. The podcast also includes their reviews of each of the movies in the Twilight Saga as well as a review of the novella “The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner.”

I loved it

I loved listening to these podcasts..I would have given it 5 stars but I feel like certain points from both the films and the books that were made, I didn't agree with.. Overall, I thought the podcasts were entertaining and thoughtful..Keep up the great work :-)

Hard to get into

I’d like an actual chapter by chapter but I’d be ok if it was two chapters at a time also. But they just go from Three chapters to seven chapter at a time and then go on Strange off course discussions. And just kind of breeze through the chapters instead of taking their time and actually going through them. This podcast sadly the only bad be I’ve found that goes through the books but I can’t really get into it cause they don’t seem to be very organized and just cram too many chapters in one show at a time to really get yourself immersed in the world.

Passive aggressive hosts.

I have listened to the first 2 and last 2 and had to stop short on the final podcast as I could no longer listen to the bickering and passive aggressive comments hurled back and forth between the husband and wife team. There seems to be no format or forethought to these podcasts, rather impulsive petulant complaining about minor details or what they did and did not like. The jump all over the place with no real insight into the stories. And just my pet peeve but the over use of “okay” as a response to each other is such a dialog blocker. Get a therapist you two. Stephanie would have done much better with a couple of like minded girlfriends for an honest discussion without feeling judged.
