UC Health Care Workers Strike, Search For Business Burglar, Thanksgiving Meal Giveaways

Service workers at UC San Diego and UCSD Health continue their two-day strike this morning. Those workers include drivers, custodial staff and maintenance crews. The race to find the person or persons behind a series of break-ins before another local business gets hit has police busy. To help families in need, a number of local organizations are fighting food insecurity by providing free meals and turkeys for Thanksgiving.
