    Chris Fettes grew up to be the guy all of us as kids dreamt we wanted to be. Navy SEAL, check, SEAL TEAM 6 member, check, gets to eat ice cream all day, check, becoming the Ultimate Dad, check.  In this episode, Chris sits down with Beav in his own craft ice cream cafe (Be Free Ice Cream) to talk us through his childhood, moving around as a military family from base to base, and country to country and how he navigated early childhood struggles. Those struggles and the support he has from his step father gave him the confidence to become one of the most elite people on the planet, a Navy SEAL Sniper, on the coveted "SEAL TEAM 6".  But how does that turn into ice cream? Chris has always had a love for ice cream, (who doesn't) but it became a true passion project after leaving the Teams. BE FREE Ice Cream is a place where the community can gather and that family connection can be made, something that is very important in Chris' life. As a true family man, and Dad of 2, Chris explains his outlook on parenting, being deployed days after his boys were born, and being a father of young boys from a distance.     Why Tummy Time is so Important! w/ Jaidyn Johnson

    Jaidyn Johnson is an Occupational Therapist, specializing in helping young children reach milestones. So much of a child's development starts with "tummy time" where a child learns how to move their head, then push up with their hands and arms, which leads to rolling over and eventually sitting up and crawling. Without the fundamental development skills, children can fall behind on "milestones" that could hinder learning and social skills in the future. Beav and Jaidyn also discuss the importance of a father to children, based on multiple studies as well as Jaidyn's personal experience as she grew up not knowing her own dad.
