S8 E5: WE TORTURED SOME FOLKS

MKULTRA was supposed to have ended in the 1960s. The torturous experiments didn’t work. So why did these techniques evolve and continue to be used by American trainers throughout Latin America, and then get revived once again in the era that followed the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks? The CIA’s Black Sites and a courtroom inside the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base may hold some of the answers. This is Uncover: Brainwashed.

Are the police in Canada really that incompetent?

First and foremost the CBC podcasts are fantastic. Now, I’m a supporter of law enforcement and always have been. My father was a federal agent. But I’ve listened to several of these podcasts from CBC and really it makes me wonder. It’s easy to make that call after the fact but there seems to be a trend to close cases and not really investigate completely. So I’m left wondering what’s going on in Canada?

All good some great

I binged all the seasons. Some are so compelling, the village and sharmini were heart breaking and anger inducing -when I think of the systems failings and cop incompetence (incopetence) and how easily these things could have been avoided

Story is good, narrator is annoying

Why does he talk like this? Ruins a good story. Sounds like a local tv channel during a Halloween episode.
