Why You Don't Need to Completely Erase Anxiety: Tips to Avoid Dependency

Today we're delving into the world of mental health, specifically addressing the issue of anxiety. We're often told to push away our feelings of anxiety, to do whatever we can to eliminate them completely. But today, I want to challenge this notion. I believe that we don't necessarily need to completely erase anxiety from our lives, and more importantly, we shouldn't feel compelled to do so in a forceful or harmful way because it can easily lead to dependency. Consider this common cycle: you feel anxious, you consume alcohol, your anxiety eases momentarily, and then you feel anxious again, leading you to consume more alcohol. This loop can be all too easy to fall into, and it's detrimental for our overall well-being. So, what's the solution? One approach is to diversify the ways you cope with anxiety. Rather than always resorting to one method like alcohol, it might be more helpful to keep your consumption moderate and mix it up with other, healthier ways of handling stress. For instance, exercising can be an excellent method for managing anxiety. It's a natural mood booster and a great way to take your mind off stress. Talking with friends and indulging in hobbies can also be extremely therapeutic. By distributing your coping mechanisms across various activities, you can more easily avoid the risk of dependency. Now, this doesn't mean that you will be able to completely get rid of anxiety. And that's okay. Remember, a certain level of anxiety can actually be beneficial. It can push us into action and help us prepare for future situations. Anxiety is not necessarily a villain. It can coexist with us and play a constructive role in our lives. So, next time you're feeling anxious, remember - you don't need to push it away forcibly. You have options and it's okay to feel this way sometimes. That's all for today, everyone. If you found this video helpful, don't forget to give it a thumbs up and share it with your friends. Thank you for watching, and remember - it's okay to feel anxious. Embracing Failure: The Key to Personal Growth and Learning

Today we are going to talk about a subject that I believe is essential, but often misunderstood or feared - the value of failure. I firmly believe that we, as individuals, can truly learn and grow only through our failures. It's through these experiences that we internalize our lessons and use them to shape our future actions and decisions. But here's the challenging part - our society can be incredibly intolerant of failure. It seems that we are always on a quest to completely eradicate any sign of failure, to nip it in the bud. But have you ever thought about what this truly implies? When we attempt to snuff out the potential for failure, we are, in essence, snuffing out opportunities for learning and growth. I think that's a really cruel thing to do, to ourselves and others. Unfortunately, societal perspectives don't change overnight, and while they take their time to evolve, we must be our own guardians. We have to protect our right to learn and grow in our own ways, even if that involves failing at times. In a society that overemphasizes perfection, I encourage you to resist the pressure. Live a life that embraces failures, a life filled with a wealth of learnings. I believe this path is far better and richer than one preoccupied with maintaining a flawless façade. Choose a life that prioritizes long-term growth over short-term appearances. I guarantee that this kind of life journey will lead to more fulfillment and joy. Remember, the only real failure in life is the failure to grow and learn. Let's redefine failure and embrace it, as it is one of the most powerful teachers we have. #Life #Growth #Learning #Failure SOCIAL: - Twitter: https://twitter.com/satoshihgsn - Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/satoshihgsn/ - YouTube: https://youtube.com/@satoshihgsn - Medium: https://medium.com/@satoshihgsn
