    The Anti-Bullsh*t of Mindfulness

    The Anti-Bullsh*t of Mindfulness

There is a lot of misinformation about mindfulness all over social media, some of it is bullshit. And you’re probably doing it wrong and getting frustrated when you don’t experience results. The mindful therapist, Katy Bandy, shares her story and provides clear and simple ways to understand how to do it correctly. I’m excited to share this episode because the next time someone tells you to “just breathe,” you just might not instantly want to punch them in the throat!

Katy said, "We can't stop stressors from happening, we can't stop traumas from occurring, and what's happening in society and the bigger picture, we can't control all of that. But the one thing we can control is how we respond to it and how we take care of ourselves through it."

Real and Raw

Great program that connects people to people through some raw topics. Kat is easy to listen to and her guests and topics are varied in the best way. An honest looks at human health and the full spectrum of emotions! Well done!

Contrary to other reviews

Some may see having a friend on your show that you agree with as a downfall but I see it as two women being comfortable enough to share their raw experiences. Would someone who wasn’t a friend felt so inclined to open up about such a sensitive issue faced by many mothers? As someone who has dealt with her own struggles after childbirth I commend you both for being so open. It brought me peace to hear I’m not alone in my experience despite how others have made me feel. Thank you and please keep sharing!
