The book consists of eight chapters by contributing authors: Mario Atencio, Shawn Attakai, Wendy Shelly Greyeyes, Rex Lee Jim, Manny Loley, Jonathan Perry, Jake Skeets, and Jennifer Jackson Wheeler. Dr. Lee summarizes their contributions of their work and their background. He frames the unique differences across Navajo Nation as a United Nations.
