DNA Twist in Wisconsin Murder Case: Blood at Crime Scene Not Victim's, Court Documents Reveal

DNA Twist in Wisconsin Murder Case: Blood at Crime Scene Not Victim's, Court Documents Reveal

In a surprising development in the gruesome murder case of 19-year-old Sade Robinson, court documents reveal that blood found in the home of the accused, Maxwell Anderson, does not match the DNA of the victim. This revelation comes from an updated criminal complaint obtained by Court TV, which highlights preliminary DNA analysis results from the Wisconsin State Crime Lab.

Maxwell Anderson, 33, has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and arson. The case has gripped the local community since Robinson, who was last seen alive on April 1, failed to show up for work the following day. Her car was discovered torched shortly after her disappearance, and authorities subsequently found severed human remains across the area, believed to be hers.

Court records indicate that Robinson and Anderson had dinner together on the day she vanished, with eyewitnesses reporting they left the restaurant together. Initially, the discovery of blood on bedding and a wall leading to Anderson's basement seemed to corroborate suspicions against him. However, the updated complaint states, "The preliminary DNA analysis supports the conclusion that there is no support for inclusion of Robinson’s DNA in any of the blood or swabs tested, and of some of those swabs, Robinson’s DNA is excluded."

During a recent court appearance, Anderson waived his right to a preliminary hearing. Scripps News Milwaukee quoted prosecutor Ian Vance-Curzan, who reflected on the DNA findings at the hearing, saying, “It indicates that the preliminary DNA supports the conclusion that there is no support for inclusion of Robinson’s DNA in the blood or swabs that have been tested.” The ambiguity over whose blood was found at the scene remains unresolved.

Anderson's plea of not guilty to the charges sets the stage for further legal proceedings, with his case due back in court on May 16 for a scheduling conference. The unexpected twist in DNA evidence could play a critical role in the ongoing investigation and subsequent trial.

As the community and Robinson's family seek answers, the question of whose blood was found in Anderson's home adds a layer of complexity to a case already marked by tragic and violent details. The authorities continue their investigation, hoping to uncover more evidence that could shed light on the circumstances surrounding Robinson’s death.

Stephan Sterns Charged with First-Degree Murder in the Death of 13-Year-Old Madeline Soto

Stephan Sterns Charged with First-Degree Murder in the Death of 13-Year-Old Madeline Soto

In a significant development in the tragic case of 13-year-old Madeline Soto, Stephan Sterns has been formally charged with first-degree murder. The Osceola County court records confirmed the indictment, nearly two months after the young girl's body was discovered in a secluded area of rural Osceola County. The indictment details allege Sterns killed Madeline between February 25 and February 27, just days before her body was found on March 1.

Madeline was reported missing after she did not return home from school. Sterns, the boyfriend of Madeline's mother, Jennifer Soto, initially told investigators he had dropped her off at school on the day she vanished. However, authorities later clarified that this was not the case, intensifying suspicions around Sterns' involvement.

The case took a darker turn when disturbing evidence was found on Sterns’ phone shortly after Madeline's disappearance. On February 28, he was arrested on 60 counts related to sexual battery on a child and possession of child sexual abuse material. These charges included eight counts of sexual battery of a child under 12, five counts of sexual battery with a child aged 12 to 18, seven counts of lewd and lascivious molestation, and 40 counts of unlawful possession of materials depicting sexual performance by a child.

State Attorney Andrew Bain and Kissimmee Police Chief Betty Holland are scheduled to address the public and media at a news conference on Wednesday at 4 p.m., which will be streamed live by local news outlets. This press conference is expected to provide further details on the progression of the case and the upcoming legal proceedings.

In a recent court appearance, a pretrial hearing resulted in the postponement of Sterns’ trial after his defense team successfully argued for more preparation time, with the judge setting a new trial date for August 19. Sterns waived his right to appear at the hearing.

As the community reels from the impact of this heinous crime, the focus now turns to the upcoming trial and the justice sought for young Madeline. The Osceola County community continues to mourn the loss of a young life cut tragically short, as they await further developments in this disturbing case.

Idaho Mother Sentenced to Over 7 Years for Soliciting Murder Through Fake 'Rent-a-Hitman' Website

Idaho Mother Sentenced to Over 7 Years for Soliciting Murder Through Fake 'Rent-a-Hitman' Website

DeAnn Parkin, a mother of three from Ovid, Idaho, has been sentenced to more than seven years in prison for attempting to solicit a murder through a satirical "Rent-a-Hitman" website. The sentencing occurred last Thursday in Senior U.S. District Judge B. Lynn Winmill’s courtroom, following Parkin's admission of guilt nearly a year after contacting the fake site.
Parkin, now 31, confessed to seeking someone to murder a woman living with her ex-husband in Wyoming. Identified only as "L.A.," Parkin accused the woman of having an affair with her husband and causing turmoil in her family due to drug abuse and alleged involvement in prostitution.
Rent-A-Hitman is a satirical website that promotes itself as the ultimate solution to targeted problems, dubbing it the "Point and Click Solution" and boasting a claim of being "100% HIPPA compliant" (Hitman Information Privacy and Protection Act of 1964) on its landing page. The site features a section dedicated to customer testimonials, showcasing comments and blurred images for anonymity. One such testimonial from Phil M. of Florida lauds the service, stating, "Guido and his public relations crew at RENT-A-HITMAN were able to resolve a five-year dispute in a matter of days. Highly recommended!"
Furthermore, the website offers various discount packages catering to different groups, including seniors, military personnel, and even Walmart associates. Notably, it extends a nod to Joseph Allen Maldonado, famously known as Joe Exotic, with an additional 10% off if customers mention "Cool Cats and Kittens.

Parkin's intentions came to light when she reportedly provided her Idaho address and phone number, along with detailed accusations against the target, in an application on the website: “I would like (the intended victim) to stay away from my husband and my family. She has helped ruin our family and broken it up with her drug abuse and her prostitution services. She has ruined her autistic son life and leaves him with strangers along w my husband to take care of him and uses her son to get my husband to come back to her and then get him more hooked on meth so she can go out and do her own thing while breaking other families lives.”
“Make her go away where she won’t ruin no one’s lives no more stops contacting my husband, give her son a better life. She has ruined my family life enough that who knows if it’s even possible to be fixed. Take her to another continent or make her disappear completely where no one hears from her again anything to make her go aways for good please and thank you.”

Upon receiving this information, the website owner promptly notified the authorities, leading to an official investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), which commenced on May 23.
Subsequent exchanges between Parkin and an undercover ATF agent posing as a hitman revealed the plot details. Text messages retrieved from court documents unveiled Parkin's readiness to pay for the execution, her fear of law enforcement intervention, and her indifference to the potential consequences, even expressing a willingness to sacrifice her own life.
On May 24, the agent and Parkin spoke on the phone while the agent was secretly recording. During the discussion, Parkin reportedly stated she was “willing to do anything” regarding her problem and that she “did not care if it means her being in a six-foot hole… I’m fine with that.”
On June 6, Parkin met with the undercover agent at her workplace in Bear Lake County. During the encounter, Mrs. Parkin reportedly confirmed her resolve to proceed with the plan, expressing a disturbing lack of concern for the well-being of the intended victim and her own son.
Following this meeting, Parkin handed over $100 in cash and a diamond ring she claimed was worth $1,500, as a down payment for the hit. She also agreed to pay the remainder in installments.
U.S. Attorney Josh Hurwit of the District of Idaho condemned Parkin's

Can Melanie Gibb's Phone Call with Lori Expose the Truth in Daybell's Trial?

Can Melanie Gibb's Phone Call with Lori Expose the Truth in Daybell's Trial?

In the latest episode of "Hidden Killers," hosted by Tony Brueski, defense attorney Bob Motta discusses the ongoing trial of Chad Daybell. The conversation highlights significant developments in the trial, particularly focusing on the testimony of Melanie Gibb, a key witness whose insights are expected to fill many gaps in the case. Gibb, previously a close associate of Lori Vallow and Daybell, plays a crucial role in elucidating the nature of their relationship and the dynamics within their group. The discussion delves into a specific phone call between Gibb and Lori, recorded by law enforcement, which Motta describes as a "biblical slap fight," where spiritual texts are used to deflect accusations. This call is anticipated to be a pivotal piece of evidence, revealing both Lori's and Chad's attempts to manipulate religious texts to justify their actions. The podcast also covers aspects of financial fraud related to the collection of death benefits, illustrating the broader criminal activities alleged against Daybell and Vallow. Motta expresses optimism about the prosecution's strategy, noting that the initial days of the trial have set a solid foundation for establishing Chad Daybell's complicity.
    Main Points of the Conversation

    - Melanie Gibb’s testimony is crucial for providing a full narrative to the jury about the core group's dynamics.
    - The "scripture brawl" phone call between Melanie Gibb and Lori Vallow highlights the use of religious texts for deflection.
    - Financial fraud involving death benefits is discussed as a part of the crimes, indicating a premeditated aspect to the alleged murders.

Some okay content, I enjoy the full trials. The adds make me laugh out loud as they play the same thing 20 times in a row.

Why does Tony hate Law Enforcement?

I enjoy listening to this show a lot. I listen to it daily. However it’s getting 3 stars due to Tony’s obvious disdain for law enforcement. I’ve turned off quite a few episodes because I can’t listen to his ridiculous ridicule of law enforcement. I’d like to see you out there doing what they do everyday and let’s see if you still have the guts to rag on them like you do. Tony is CONSTANTLY making completely unsubstantiated claims of police coverup and collusion. All of his accusations are completely without any facts and just pure conjecture yet says it like it’s a fact.

Missing and duplicate episodes

Rust testimony is at times duplicated with some testimony skipped and missing entirely. Very frustrating.
