Unmapped - an epistolary exploration of co-creativity: Episode 2 Unmapped: an epistolary exploration of co-creativity

    • Arts

Julian West and Hannah Zeilig are Unmapped.org.uk, a transdisciplinary research group specialising in the arts, wellbeing and dementia. Together with Millie van der Byl Williams, they are co-authors of the award-winning publication C0-creativity: possibilities for using the arts with people living with dementia. Their research began with the exchange of a series of letters, which they have recorded for this podcast. In this second episode, Julian and Hannah consider the possibility that co-creative approaches might be useful in attempting to create equality, and the importance of improvisation. They also reflect upon the nature of participation and the notion that artists themselves can benefit from working co-creatively with others.
