Ep 31 Postscript - Space Westerns + Weird and Wonderful Cinema
This episode was recorded last December, so some of the references might seem a little dated. Sverre started watching the live action Cowboy Bebop adaptation, we talk in general about space westerns and get into other series like wheel of time. Thomas tells about his (then) new film club, weird and wonderful cinema, where they screen surrealistic, absurd and amazing movies that are a little obscure.

fantastic podcast exploring a fave niche
Love this pod! Really interesting discussions and film choices. Some of the movies are a little too extreme for my taste, but the hosts do a good job describing them so I can even listen without watching. Lots of thoughtful commentary and a nice listen all around.
My favorite podcast
You guys, don’t sleep on this! If you like witty, nuanced, empathetic conversation about intense films/theory—this is the show for you. The hosts are smart, keenly observant, and more than equipped to parse the dark thickets of the thorniest cinema. They also touch on books, art, pop culture, etc., in delightfully far ranging conversations. Aesthetically, the pod is well produced and they have incredibly soothing voices and are unfailingly well mannered. As a boorish American, my favorite moments are when they disagree—they are still so polite and respectful to one another that it sparks joy in my cold dead heart. Basically, listen to these guys and I’m moving to Norway.
Interesting podcast about unpleasant movies
Wonderful. Always eager to listen a new episode. A couple of thoughtful podcasters who pick all the right movies with some interesting insight.
