Give them a break!

I’ve read thru the reviews and the tone is negative. But hey let’s all try to put together a p-cast and see how confusing ,clear and competent we all are. This was a confusing case with a lot of details! And I swear I’ve yet to see a podcast review that those hosts accents, voices, presentation aren’t criticized! We all have accents! Get over it! Someone complained about a “Northern California drawl”!!! Hey I’m in Missouri we have a ridiculous drawl! And I own it ! And... I did hear a lot of sirens in the background. Not annoying but I am curious are y’all by police/fire station? Not mad just curious. I really hate how mean people can be so mean and nasty about someone’s efforts that I bet they listen to FOR FREE! Don’t like it? Move on. But don’t make your pissy remarks to deliberately hurt someone. I truly appreciate their efforts I’m bingeing out all day.and there goes the sirens! I’ve got to know what’s up! I appreciate you both. Thank you

Can’t

I think a concept map of where they wanted the podcast to go - or at least some guidelines would have worked wonders. It’s repetitive and all over the place and not organized well at all. Had to give up.

From 4* to 1* in ep 2

Do they just read from the internet or did they actually get case info? Seems like they are just reading their own reddit thread

It’s amazing how great of crime detectives they think they’d be using hindsight. Happens all the time when you get yougins think everything was the same for ages.
Also clueless about police force size in small towns. Be fully informed before saying you are going in depth.

They didn’t even reach out to the family for their words, experience, or even blessing on the podcast, but want to ridicule people for not being thorough. They need to take investigative reporting 101 before they get all indignant.

Ep. 3 edit. The woman is clueless. Wow. & let’s ridicule anyone who came forward trying to help. Way to go!
