Of the roughly 450,000 marriage based visas issued every year in the US, it is estimated that ⅓ of them are based on fraudulent marriages.
This show is for US citizens who find themselves having been duped into marriage by a foreign "spouse" simply for the spouse to get a green card. We deal with immigration marriage fraud issues on this show.

As a legal permanent resident happily married to (the most wonderful ❤️🥰) US citizen spouse, I a want to thank you for exposing marriage fraud. It is fraudsters that make our legitimate cases go slower, sometimes more invasive. Thank you for speaking the pure, unadulterated truth.
And to all Americans and legal permanent residents out there: be REALLY careful who you bring. Happy stories (like ours) do happen. But be mindful that yours may not be it. Take your time and get to know them. Listen to your friends and family, and most importantly, listen to your instincts.

Important topic
Very interesting and scary issues surrounding immigration, green cards and marriage between US citizens and foreign nationals. Anyone contemplating any arrangement involving bringing over someone from a foreign country under a marriage visa hoping to start a life together should give this a listen. Know all the angles and how to protect yourself before you start the process as things will be stacked in favor of the immigrant and leave the US citizen with few options, should things turn sour.
