The conclusion is undeniable - Mormonism cannot be true. While Edith knows Jesus is real, Daniel takes a deep dive into agnosticism and atheism, which really scares Edith. But Daniel can't leave Jesus alone and so he reads widely on both sides, ultimately concluding Jesus was a real person and the Gospels are authentic accounts of his life. UGP 222 - Engaging Other Faiths without Fear (or less fear anyway) - Part 2
In these next two episodes Joel and Lynn look at 5 Cs for Interfaith and Intercultural Engagement. When these 5 Cs are motivating and informing your relationships, engaging with others from an intimidating religious background can feel more relaxed and comfortable than you thought possible. It won’t feel forced, or manipulative, or salesy, or scary. Well, maybe a little scary. After all, pursuing anything of value involves risk and putting yourself out there. Just let that flutter in your stomach remind you our confidence rests ultimately in God, his love, and his ability to transform lives from the inside out. You can help others experience a grace that heals.
Growing up in the LDS religion and loosing my faith brought me to finding the true God of the Bible. It takes a long time to untangle the web of deception. Listening to others share their journeys has helped with my healing process. Thank you to this podcast Lynn and Joel.
I read Lynn’s book and devoured it!!!! It’s so important for Christian’s to understand that Mormonism IS NOT BIBLICAL CHRISTIANITY.
It is even more important that Christian’s KNOW HOW TO EXPLAIN to our Mormon friends the differences between the 2.
THIS PODCAST IS an incredible tool to learn more about Mormon theology - so the Christina can better explain the differences between the 2.
Mormonism is a works based religion.
Biblical Christianity IS NOT.
Devouring Every Podcast
I read Lynn’s book, “Unveiled by Grace” and loved her family’s story. I tuned in to hear more stories of people finding the true grace of the biblical Jesus, and I couldn’t be more pleased. It is so beautiful to hear how the biblical Jesus pursues each person in a very personal way. I highly recommend this podcast to encourage anyone’s walk with the Lord and a better understanding of our LDS friends/family.
