    Al Morir La Matinée (Uruguay)

    Al Morir La Matinée (Uruguay)

    It's rare treat for Jonny & Aileen to see a movie in real time with its release, so our hosts jumped at the chance to watch Maxi Contenti's Al Morir La Matinée, that just came out in the US this August. A slasher film mixed with giallo, Al Morir La Matinée shows a rainy day in Montevideo where a group of strangers go to the movies, but one of those strangers is hungry for more than popcorn. Our hosts also talk of Uruguay's Dia del Cine Nacional, the 90s Uruguayan radio program Radio Los Ojos de la Noche, and Maxi Contenti's love letter to the movie theater experience.

    You can find Al Morir La Matinée in most VOD streaming services.

Uy = Yay!

It’s so much fun to watch these movies and then listen to the corresponding episode! It’s like sitting in a bar afterward with two of your favorite people to talk about and unravel and enjoy the movie all over again :)
