    Dr. Charles, a native Atlantan, is currently the Vice President for College Advancement at Agnes Scott College.
    She received a bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Rollins College, a masters from Georgia State, and a Doctorate in Higher Education Policy from Vanderbilt. 
    She is also a 2018 Leadership Character Award nominee, for reasons that will be clear in this interview!

    ValueTale: The Story of Ann Cramer

    In this ValueTales episode, we are delighted to share the story of the indomitable Ann Cramer. 

    Ann is a native of Jacksonville, Florida, graduated from Salem College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina with a degree in mathematics. She had a long and successful career at the IBM Corporation, where she started as a Systems Engineer in Jacksonville and retired as its Director for IBM Corporate Citizenship and Corporate Affairs for the Americas. These days, she is serving as a Senior Consultant with Coxe Curry & Associates.

    She has been heavily involved in youth and educational organizations throughout her life, serves on multiple nonprofit boards including the Woodruff Arts Center, the Alliance Theatre Company, Public Broadcasting Atlanta (PBA).

    She has received numerous awards and accolades, including the first Lifetime Achievement Award by the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s "Women Who Mean Business" listing, named by Atlanta Woman Magazine as Power Woman of the Year, and was recognized as the US Chamber's first lifetime achievement for corporate citizenship award.

    ValueTale: The Story of Alex Gregory

    In this first ValueTales interview, we share the story of Alex Gregory.

    Alex Gregory was born in Eatonton, GA, and earned an engineering degree from Georgia Tech. In 1973 he joined YKK as a manager of the Weaving Dept. and was the first American YKK employee in Georgia. In 2001 Alex was named president of YKK Corp. of America and in ’04, the first non-Japanese group officer of the YKK Corp. From 2008 to 2010, he also served on YKK Corp.’s board of directors – the first non-Japanese director – and was named chairman in 2011.
