What’s In a VC Fund Thesis?

What’s In a VC Fund Thesis?

Gillian and Anne explore how venture capital funds form, market, and express their investment theses. Founders need to know which VC to pitch for capital, just as investors want to find funds that align with their principles and goals. A fund’s investment thesis lays out just how it will make money for its investors, their Limited Partners (LPs), by naming the focus of investments, geography, and startup stage. @philipkong ,

A comprehensive series

You guys need to continue this. You could also package the episodes and sell it on Amazon imo. Software: look into using Carta (free trial) from the off. Application of All your great advice requires patience. It buys time which increases the odds that you’ll get enough iterations in, to - with luck - hit the right one. I think you could talk about this in a future episode.

Succinct Tactical Ninja Insight

These podcasts present a brilliant style of disseminating useful information that is super tactical for founders and investors alike (not just arbitrary concepts but actual real-world scenarios). They're all well balanced with succinct mic drops and analogical wizardry as well! This level of knowledge share is exactly what I’ve been looking for in startup/entrepreneurship podcasts.
