Brought y’all with me to Charleston!

I started listening to this podcast the first day I decided to eat plant based, which was Nov 1, 2018. I definitely knew my “why” but didn’t necessarily know my “how”. That’s why I LOVE Vickie and Larrisa, because they make me feel like it’s okay to not be perfect, and if I mess up, get back on and even seasoned vegetarians are still learning. I recently moved to Charleston, SC from Central Texas and I’m so grateful I was able to bring them with me! Although I have caught up on all 300+ episodes, I sometimes go back and re-listen to past episodes just so I can feel inspired all over again. Thank you so much for y’all’s humble, judgement free space that I can always rely on!

This must be the place

I stumbled on this podcast when looking for insight about living a plant-based lifestyle. I was hooked after one episode. The episodes are really engaging, and cover real-world topics in a down-to-earth way.
I’m making my way through all the episode archives, figuring out that there’s lots of support out there. Good stuff!

I am a nurse I teach people health. I have eaten horribly for years in-fact most nurses and doctors do. We are over worked, have high stress jobs with crazy schedules. We do not get enough sleep or sometimes even water. When I first started nursing I worked a fourteen hour shift and I kid you not, I did not pee or drink all shift because my patient acuity was so high. So here I am
Still a nurse but in a job I love. And I thought you have done everything wrong for your body all your life let’s see how your body functions getting all the right stuff. I am a work in progress . I am not sure where I am going to end up. I am simply trying to do better everyday. I am up at 4 am every day hitting the gym because it helps me with stress. I am trying to go plant based and as a girl born in Dallas raised on meat I have to say I lost my taste for it years ago. I have not eaten steak since I was 18. I find your podcast refreshing yet real. I love that you are honest that you are not always a perfect vegan and that when you started you had no clue? I especially love that you allow no bullying , bashing or disrespect! That is huge for this girl! I put on your podcast usually when I am doing household chores and I get so lost in your podcast that my house gets super clean! Please keep doing what you do and how you do it. You ladies ROCK! For a Greenie like me you make me feel that I am
Right where I should be! Thank you !!!!!
