Unlearning Racism

This Podcast is an essential listen for anyone. My biggest take away is that we can not be afraid to have difficult conversations. Those conversations are for understanding and acceptance not persuasion. The more we engage to understand the more we will learn. When someone believes we understand them, we build trust. Once you build trust through relationship, those difficult conversations become easier, because of acceptance. Lindsey mentions we will fail, and we are to fail again, and fail faster. Meaning, this is a learning process. We can’t fail if we don’t try. If we try and fail- good. Learn from that and fail again, and fail faster the next time. You can’t get into the conversation unless you try. Don’t let fear deny you the chance to gain valuable understanding of others. Please listen to this very important Podcast!
