One of the best comic podcasts you can find...

If you want the shorter version: A comic podcast with a roundtable book club format, most of the recordings have great quality sound with the occasional error (older episodes clearly being rougher for obvious experience reasons). Want recommendations? What to avoid? This is a great place to start.

The longer version: I've been a fan coming up on close to a year now and I felt it was only fitting as a fan of this podcast to procrastinate about as much as possible for this review. Honestly, I was just too lazy to sign onto my computer, my bad.

I had been out of reading comics regularly for a couple years and since I am the de facto comic book guy of my friends and living in the south I couldn't really think of a way to expand my recommendations. So I finally searched for anything related to my favorite comic, figured it would be a good place to start. It's "All-Star Superman" for the no one out there that's curious.

Like I said, the sound quality is really good for the most part, especially since I mostly play these things on my phone at work. I was actually shocked at how many comic book podcasts have terrible sound.

Each host brings a great deal of knowedge with a variety of tastes and preference between them all which has GREATLY expanded my own horizons. Do yourself a favor and just listen to the entire episode for MGMT, doesn't matter if you read or like the material; trust me, a random comic geek from the internet.

Mostly irrelevent, but I spent most of my life in the south but thankfully was blessed with a local comic shop even if they have a stronger attachment to the Big Two... But this group is based out of the Pacific Northwest which is a region I love for a plethora of reasons, gives them some extra brownie points in my book.

Great roundtable discussion about comic books in trade paperback collected form and then some. I for one hope these guys come back for a long run.
