Tim Miller is a famous search-and-rescuer in Dickinson, Texas, who's helped track down more than 300 missing persons. After 38 years of searching, he’s now convinced that he’s finally solved his own daughter’s murder. In the first season of VIGILANTE, Allie Conti (New York Times, Vice) explores the human cost of Tim’s singular obsession with the case—from the people he’s falsely accused in the past, to the current girlfriend he’s put in the crosshairs of a possible serial killer. As Allie prepares to interview the suspect in person, she grapples with whether she might be the latest victim of Tim’s vigilantism.

Customer Reviews
Love this!
This has me from the start. The hater reviews are so weird to me. 🤷♀️I loved every second.
Kast Media kills it again!
This show is great-engaging, nuanced, and doesn’t make you feel like it only exists for a million ad breaks. The host Allison (or is it Allie?) is excellent-authentic, and her voice and delivery are perfect. She is honest and nothing like a game or talk show host, and balances her analysis with narration and self-reflection. I love The Opportunist podcast, also from Kast Media, so you should definitely check that out too if you haven’t yet. Can’t wait for more seasons of both!
For those who are super podcast nerds, one thing in particular I like about both this show and the Opportunist is their season release format. Their seasons come out on a rolling basis, and each could be anywhere from 1-5+ episodes long. It’s a great surprise to see a new season pop up on my feed, sometimes there will be multiple in short order, so subscribing or following is a must for both. Thanks Allie Conti, the Vigilante team and Kast Media! Keep up the great work!!
Great
This is a really engaging story told in clear, conscience way. Once I started listening I couldn’t stop! Great job!
