    Fostering Vocations

    Fostering Vocations

We have a special episode for you about fostering vocations! Fostering vocations should be encouraged in family life. If you do encourage your children with your words to think about a religious vocation, you never know if it will be your child, grandchild, or somewhere down the line that answers that special call from God to give his or her life in service to the Church and His people. We invited Thomas Vu to this episode to talk more about his family and discernment as a seminarian.

    Priestly Vocations

    Priestly Vocations

Priests pray a crucial role in the Church. Without priests, we do not have the Eucharist, confession, or anointing of the sick. To expand on this, we have Fr. Richard McNeillie, the Vocation Director of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. He joins us to talk more about vocations and his desire to become a priest. We are thankful for all our priests!

    Everything Carmelite

    Everything Carmelite

This week's podcast episode is all about the Carmelite Order. The reality of the Carmelite way of life remains the same today as almost five centuries ago: to live simply and always in the presence of God at the service of the Church. To help us dive in deeper we have a very special guest, Deacon Pier Giorgio Pacelli of Christ the King, OCD. He shares with us his discernment and what lead him to the Discalced Carmelites. In 2014, he became a Discalced Carmelite friar for the Washington Province. He is an inspiration!

    Are Religious Sisters Friends?

    Are Religious Sisters Friends?

The news of the day dives in on a curious student's question to a Religious Sister, "Are you all friends?" Living in a religious community has its sacrifices and joys but at the end of the day, they all have one goal. To understand this better we invited Sr. Anthony Mary Diago, RSM to share her story of the eternal love of God and the joy of giving herself to Christ in every aspect of her life.

    Benedictines and Religious Brothers Day

    Benedictines and Religious Brothers Day

Who are the Benedictines? They were founded in AD 529 by St. Benedict. This rule has proved to be a guide for countless souls for 15 centuries. Our very special guest, Br. Leven Harton, gives us an inside look into the Benedictine monks and his role as a religious brother and prior for the monastery. May 1st is Religious Brother’s Day. If you know a religious brother, please reach out to him. Let him know you are praying for him. Send him a card, maybe even a small donation for the monastery.

It takes bravery to follow Christ as a priest. Fr. Cesar Martinez, who is the Vocation Director for the Diocese of Stockton, California, shares his vocation story in an interview with Rhonda. You will totally relate to his testimony that is full of hope and challenges as he discovered God. We also have a special segment to promote Hispanic vocations. Finally, this weekend is World Day of Prayer for Vocations so please pray for more men and women to generously answer God's call.

Jennah Costa ,

So inspiring and informative!!

This podcast is my favorite! I started listening to the very beginning episodes and each time I’m in the car I listen to a new one after being inspired by Rhonda’s talk at our Diocese this past winter. I’ve been reading her book, Hundredfold, as well. I’m learning so much and just really love the podcast too. We’ve started to implement some of Rhonda’s Phase I ideas at our parish and we’re very hopeful and inspired to continue. Thank you for this podcast, Rhonda!

Lori Leg ,

Super informative

Hi Rhonda,
I am so loving these podcasts! Our church started a vocations ministry last June. We are following your “recipe “ in the Hundredfold book but these podcasts are the perfect compliment to the book! Thank you for promoting vocations and spreading the word across the nation! From this Connecticut woman.....God Bless you. Hope to meet you in person one day!

Vocations Today with Gruenewald

This was a wonderful podcast. I really enjoyed listening to it on my lunch break today. Rhonda speaks eloquently about today’s vocations and in this podcast she provides biographical information about her personal life and what brought her to the Church. The podcast was ended with a beautiful prayer. I’m anxiously awaiting the next podcast and I admire her devotion / dedication to the Catholic Faith.
