The reality of the Carmelite way of life remains the same today as almost five centuries ago: to live simply and always in the presence of God at the service of the Church. To help us dive in deeper we have a very special guest, Deacon Pier Giorgio Pacelli of Christ the King, OCD. He shares with us his discernment and what lead him to the Discalced Carmelites. In 2014, he became a Discalced Carmelite friar for the Washington Province. He is an inspiration!

Who are the Benedictines? They were founded in AD 529 by St. Benedict. This rule has proved to be a guide for countless souls for 15 centuries. Our very special guest, Br. Leven Harton, gives us an inside look into the Benedictine monks and his role as a religious brother and prior for the monastery. May 1st is Religious Brother’s Day. It takes bravery to follow Christ as a priest. Fr. Cesar Martinez, who is the Vocation Director for the Diocese of Stockton, California, shares his vocation story in an interview with Rhonda.
