There are 600,000 people experiencing homelessness in the United States, including 200,000 people in California and 70,000 in Los Angeles County. And yet homeless health care is a one-person-at-a-time operation that requires care to be deployed on the streets where these patients live. Dr. Michael Hochman, CEO of Healthcare in Action, a subsidiary of SCAN Group, joined us to talk about providing medical care, mental health and addiction treatment, and case management to unhoused populations in California while working to get them into stable housing. Customer Reviews
Interesting and Informative
Good to hear what's happening in healthcare now and how the industry is looking to evolve to serve consumers and healthcare systems better.
Not insightful
Pretty solely propaganda for the AHIP lobbying machine point of view.
Suppose that’s expected; the real sin of this show is that it’s boring. There is never Insight leading to that feeling of ‘aha’. Just repetition of set piece talking points.
I suppose useful for those in the health plan industry needing to absorb the corporate line. Deathly boring for the rest of us.
Production values are good, so it’s not a one star.
Great look into the health care industry
Absolutely fantastic and insightful!
