New listener - enjoying this

I am interested in exploring more about the Star Trek fictional universe and I was recently introduced to this podcast by Caroline. It's got a great amount of depth but still enjoyable for someone who doesn't know everything about Star Trek. I appreciate all the work they put into this. Great job!

Much better than the books

This podcast is a delightful way to find out what happened in the books... without having to actually read them. Am particularly fond of the "what are you drinking" segment.

Great Voyager Relaunch Podcast

I was overjoyed to find a podcast about what I think is the best Star Trek Relaunch series available so far. I am a diehard Niners fan, but even I recognize that the Voyager Relaunch series is vastly better than the DS9 Relaunch. However, I disagree with your mostly favorable opinions of Ms. Golden’s first two books - Homecoming and The Farther Shore. The B’Elanna Torres story did not make sense. (Why would her mother go to Boreth after sharing a vision with her daughter?) I also thought the denouement of the holograms-have-rights story was downright silly. And once again Harry Kim is pushed to the sidelines to allow another character to shine. When will Harry Kim get his own story (and a normal girlfriend)? And will anyone care at that point? Anyway…notwithstanding the difference of opinion, I enjoyed listening to your thoughts and insights on the characters and their new adventures. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on Full Circle and the new author Kirsten Beyer!
