Waffle House Museum - Decatur, Georgia Southern Oddities

    • History

Decatur is a city in DeKalb County, Georgia, which is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area, with it unofficial motto "Everything is Greater in Decatur". But the town of Decatur gained a national reputation, by being the home, to one of the biggest southern staples, the beloved breakfast restaurant franchise, Waffle House. And In 2007, Waffle House repurchased its original restaurant, which was sold by the chain in the early 1970s and was most recently a Chinese restaurant, and restored it using original blueprints, turning it into the Waffle House Museum.
