Waldorfy serves to explore and explain Waldorf Education and Anthroposophy. In most episodes, I discuss topics with a Waldorf teacher, or someone with knowledge about anthroposophy, to deliver accurate, simple, interesting, information and explanations. When possible we’ll bring to attention any research or studies surrounding the topics we are exploring. My main aim is to reach parents, perspective parents, and alumni to engage them with the meaning and purpose of Waldorf Education and it’s connection with anthroposophy.

Raising Children to be themselves

When I started looking into educational options for my children just a few years ago I felt drawn to Waldorf. Of course the internet is filled with beautiful Waldorf inspired images and I while adore aesthetics, I needed to know more about its philosophy, pedagogy and its founder before I implemented it in my own home. This podcast is a well done, relatable, accessible resource for anyone who is considering Waldorf school or homeschool. It helped to clear up my confusion about whether it was a religion (it’s not) and pointed me to many great resources to further my research. I will recommend this podcast to anyone who is interested in Waldorf or alternative education methods.
