Stranger Things Season 4 & How Method is Too Method?

Stranger Things Season 4 & How Method is Too Method?

Stranger Things Season 4 is darker, scarier, bigger, & just might be the show's best season. Amid all the talk of what the show's success means for Netflix and their recent "misfortunes" and alongside a massive resurgence in streaming Kate Bush songs, one major topic of conversation has been this season's central villain, the absolutely terrifying Vecna. Dustin shares his thoughts on a recent interview featuring the Vecna actor (name withheld here & in the episode to avoid any spoilers) discussing some of the methods they used to help their performance and on method acting as a whole and why people are just as likely to roll their eyes as stand & applaud when it comes to the practice of method acting.

If you have thoughts on method acting, Stranger Things Season 4, or anything else in the world of entertainment/pop culture, please write to winnwinnmedia@gmail.com

How Long is Too Long to Wait for an "Avatar" Sequel?

How Long is Too Long to Wait for an "Avatar" Sequel?

On Monday afternoon rumors began to grow that the first teaser trailer for James Cameron's long-awaited "Avatar 2" would be attached to "Doctor Strange & the Multiverse of Madness". The "Avatar" sequel is currently slated to open in December of this year, marking 13 years between the original and the sequel, with Cameron ambitiously planning sequels every other year from 2024 to 2028.
Dustin shares his thoughts on the ambitious plan for the franchise and wonders if too much time has passed between the original and now for the sequel to be anywhere near as successful as the first, one of the top highest-grossing movies of all time. He runs through some of the changes that the box office has seen over the last 13 years as well as the mixed bag of results that come from waiting too long to make a sequel to a beloved movie.
