All the magic we need!

Can’t believe I haven’t composed a review yet, but as I’m sitting here on the last day of our Covid safe vacation in our Air bnb, I feel compelled to.

My husband and I have been listening for about a year now, when we started planning for our Disneymoon that we managed to squeeze in last November. We now have a three month old that I listened to the podcast with while I was stuck at home back in March, pregnant and laid off, and man was it the magic I needed.

To say we’re Disney people is an understatement, especially considering that’s what we chose as our Honeymoon and since I’m a former college program participant (Epic Stunt spectacular, plus the summer Frozen Fireworks and the Frozen Parade were a thing in Studios), and Lou’s podcast is just what we needed in these times. In all our car road trips, walks, and spare time, we listen to all his musings and mouth watering reviews just so we can get a taste of the magic that we so desperately crave all the way in Rhode Island.

I’m still trying to convince myself to take the plunge and move to Florida so we can hang out with the cool kids and eat our way around the parks, but the Covid job market has me now terrified more than ever. So until I work up the courage to finally take the plunge and be happy year round, I’ll just keep getting my daily dose of happy and magic from Lou’s positivity.

P.s.- I’m totally convinced that my daughter now recognizes your voice, considering there hasn’t been a day she hasn’t heard it in her three month old life

So positive!

A great Disney podcast and very positive atmosphere to listen to and be a part of. I always feel super welcome and become so much more informed from each episode!

Lou is great but his guest co hosts are not...

Lou himself is pretty good even if he's a bit of a Disney sycophant. He knows his stuff, is great on mic, and can conduct excellent interviews. It’s his “friends” that really bring the podcast down. Except Beci, she knows what she’s doing.

Tim Foster is unlistenable. He has no idea how to hold a conversation intended for others listening. He starts a sentence ... pauses for an uncomfortable amount of time to gather his thoughts... then rushes and jumbles all his words together. He apparently doesn’t go on any of the real rides, and doesn’t eat at any of the great restaurants. He has very little insight to offer. Please Lou, either teach him how to speak for a podcast or stop having him on.

Jim Korkis is a hack who has spent his entire career riding in the coattails of actual talented people. His books are superficial and he’s terrified of criticizing anything related to Disney. On the podcast he doesn’t listen to Lou and constantly interrupts.

Lou has repeatedly said “choose the good” yet he has chosen poorly for his repeat guest hosts.
