WDW Radio # 632 - Unrealized Walt Disney World Attractions of the Disney Decade
When Michael Eisner and Frank Wells ushered in The Disney Decade in 1990, they did so with the promise of unmatched expansion in the Disney parks and resorts. And while many of the announcements came to be, there were many that never made it off the drawing board, or in some cases, the scale models. This week, we'll look at the many attractions, shows, resorts, and unique offerings that were never realized in the parks... including some incredible concepts that you probably never heard of before.
WDW Radio # 631 - Interview with Imagineer Kevin Lively and Jungle Cruise Updates
I want to welcome you aboard the World Famous Jungle Cruise with our very special (former) Skipper, Kevin Lively. Kevin shares his personal journey from fan to Cast Member, and stories from the rivers in Disneyland and in Tokyo. We'll also talk about his time at Walt Disney Imagineering, as show writer and story editor, and maintaining the legacy of classic attractions that include Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion. We also discuss the changes in the Jungle Cruise, including a reveal of a new show scene, the S.E.A. (Society of Explorers and Adventurers) and much more. It is an outstanding discussion... until Kevin left me out standing on the dock. Alone. And if you don't believe me, you're probably in... (OK, moving on...)
WDW Radio # 629 - Top Ten Nighttime Experiences in Walt Disney World

We'll share personal favorites, nostalgia in the parks, as well as what is to come in the future, including Harmonious, and the introduction of Disney music into EPCOT. Of course, I want to hear from you, and I'll let you know how and where you can share your thoughts about the Music of World Showcase.

Long time listener
Long time listener, first time reviewer!! I’ve loved the WDW Radio show for years- it is such a great way to stay connected to what’s new at Disney Word, and Lou is an amazing host. He is so warm and enthusiastic you can’t help but be happier listening to this podcast!
I think I would like this podcast more if it weren’t so long. I would personally appreciate shows to be more concise, sometimes it seems like the host loves to hear himself talk and doesn’t let guests gets word in. I feel like the show could use more editing as well, there was a section of an episode that featured the host coughing for 20 seconds.
Pure Disney Magic you can take anywhere!
Lou and his guest do a wonderful job at creating a fully immersive Disney experience. I eagerly await each new episode and often listen to episodes from his wonderful library. Lou is active in the Disney community and genuinely cares about its members. WDW Radio is quite simply the bippity boppity best thing not on the back side of water! #choosethegood
