We Have Lift Off! | Can you be creative in a global pandemic‪?‬ Stereoplate

    • Books

This episode is part of a series called We Have Lift Off! How to Launch a Literary Magazine in a Global Pandemic? In this instalment we ask the question: Can you be creative in a global pandemic? We’ll look at Shakespeare (following a Twitter storm started by Roseanne Cash), the plague and Covid19, creativity and the generosity of creatives around the globe.

We’ll also be celebrating issue 46 of Brittle Star magazine including some work responding to Covid19. You’ll hear writing from lockdown from Louisa Hooper, Cara L Mckee, Ama Bolton, Philip Dunkerley and John Pucay. Also, toasting Brittle Star’s 20 years of publishing, we’ll have poems by Jo Brandon, John Greening and Tamsin Cottis and a sneaky-peek of a story by Julie Mellor.

So, join Martin and Jacqueline wherever you are in the world as they share great writing with you, and try to shake off some of the mystery surrounding poetry and fiction.
