Wednesday | 11/11/2020 | The Air Classics Museum: Veteran's Day Special Edition Good Morning Aurora

    • Daily News

Today is Veterans Day and we had a very special edition of Good Morning Aurora. On the show we were proud to feature the staff of the Air Classics Museum in Sugar Grove, IL. Dedication, history and love of country; that’s what we got today during our conversation with these gentlemen. Lots of Aurorans are familiar with the museum but not many are familiar with the men who run it. Capturing their respective stories was fascinating and we, as a podcast, are proud of these men and what they do. What was Veterans Day in 1930? And what has it been in the decades since? It is the individual experience that we were honored to capture. Not all of our guests today were veterans; but each of them is a patriot. The Air Classics Museum does a lot for our city, county & country. These men exemplify the best of what our country has to offer.

Shouts go out to Tredwell coffee for their wonderful donation of coffee for the show today. Shouts go out to local photographers Joseph Weber, ZA & Bob Lockwood. Thank you for the support, help, advice and kind words of our friends from the American Legion, Support Tech, ACTS (A Call To Shoulders) and the Aurora Public Art Commission. We are grateful to our fans, listeners & supporters. We’ve got more coming, so much more! This was a great episode so be sure to check it out. All the news in Aurora, we’ve got you covered Monday thru Friday. Big shouts go to Gin Ingram Art, Miranda Properties, Cotton Seed Creative Exchange & My Daughter’s Dress. Be blessed and unstoppable and Happy Veteran’s Day!
