Care and respect for the individual, all from the east side of Aurora. That's what we saw, learned and discovered when speaking with Dr. Amanda Goldman of East Aurora Counseling & the Judah Robinson Foundation. Mental health has many stigmas associated with it and Dr. Goldman smashes those and truly goes above and beyond to help people. This is so special because many people are seeking help but do not know who to access the care they need. For years, Dr. Goldman has been a staple in our community and her team are changing lives daily. International travel was also a topic of our discussion because she's explored the world and brings a global perspective to life. We spoke about Kuwait, Naperville, and establishing a rapport with clients and professionals alike. We're proud that there are good people in our city willing to help others. As she said: "the antidote to stigma and shame is pride."
