JP Coovert writes and illustrates whimsical TTRPG zines every month. He also makes videos that teach and encourage creators to make cool stuff for their tabletop roleplaying games. He creates complete games, one-shot adventures (some that can be strung for an campaign, others thematically to each game), toolkits, guides, and so many other wonderful things.
I honestly think JP's Patreon is one of the best bangs for your buck in the entire industry. He mixtures creative writing, good game design, whimsical ideas, wonderful illustrations, in a portable and affordable format. What do you want more? And it's all pretty much system neutral and easy to adapt to your favorite game. And if not, he has a bunch of his own games you can play with ease.
I loved hanging out with him again (we hung out at Gen Con 2023). We talked about his work, his constant output of great stuff, his hobbies besides RPGs, making art, comics, writing, and so much more.
It was a truly inspiring chat. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Cassi Mothwin is a multi-award winning tabletop RPG designer and illustrator. When she’s not working on her own projects, she’s usually reviewing or exploring other indie tabletop games developed by her peers. She enjoys video editing, video games, and reading a lot of genre fiction.
Cassi body of work is pretty impressive and she has been doing this for only a few years. But not only that, she explores themes and avenues of play, multimedia, interactivity. It's really fantastic, creative and inspiring.

62 Craig Hatler
Craig Hatler (he/him), @tezrak on most socials, bis the IT Help Desk Manager for a small historically black university in Raleigh, NC, USA. He has been playing #TTRPGs for over 30 years & have been developing/designing for over half that time. He has created a modular system and setting, both released as Creative Commons, allowing others to create with his work collaboratively.
I confess I didn't know much about Craig's work before the interview, and he helped me out when a guest had to cancel. He was on my list of future guest but the opportunity presented itself and here we were. And it was great.
Craig is a knowledgeable guy. He played and sutdied a lot of games, and seems have what I like to call "designer eyes", that ability to take things apart and figure out how they work and how they can be used for other stuff.
We talked about game design, inspirations, our strugglers, pixel art, other games. It was a really fun, insightful and educational episode! I hope you an learn something new with this one.

61 Andrían Mejía
Adrián Mejia was born and raised in Quito, the city that he loves and hates. He wants to see more latines in Fantasy, both as characters and players, and tell stories he doesn't see elsewhere. He is the lead director of the Koboa project, a South American Fantasy setting for D&D, Pathfinder and other fantasy ganes, and is hoping to get a few more projects underway as he keeps experimenting with game designs he finds interesting.
The first time I saw the vibrant colors and unique characters of the Koboa ads I was immediately interested and started to follow Adrían. As a fellow RPGLATAM creator, I was excited to have Adrían on the show to talk about his project, his journey, his inspirations, and that's what we did.
We also talked a lot about being Latin Americans making games in the international market, we talked about RPGLATAM, about colonization, about social justice, and many other things that is almost impossible not to talk about when we talk about LATAM.
It was a delightful chat, full of great ideas, and I hope you all enjoy it as much as we did.

Otavio Lessa is an Entrepreneur, Advisor, and Educator with +25 years of experience in Entertainment Content, Operations, Communications, and Business. Otavio is a fellow #RPGLATAM member, and Mind's Vision is a publisher which has been focusing on bringing some of the best TTRPGs from Brazil to the international market. They begin with Legacy of Cthulhu, but many more followed. Currently, Mind's Vision is crowdfunding Infaernum, a brutal role-playing game that approaches a theme that might be sensitive to some people. In this fictional world, one or more players roleplay characters who experience the last days of all things as doomsday comes near.
