Welcome to my hood film #20: See You Yesterday w/ Sonya Vai

We recorded this episode a week before the shooting of Jacob Blake, but unfortunately it correlates with our current episode. We chop it up with Queens, NY native Sonya Vai who is seeing her second hood film after Belly (what a dry spell for hood films) after we showed her the innovative and creative "See You Yesterday". Even though it came out last year, it's a film so powerful and moving that even Spike Lee and Netflix themselves had to help get this story seen around the globe. We also discuss how it relates to today's current climate and so much more.
