Patreon Preview: Behind the Scenes (September 2023)
An excerpt from our most recent patreon Behind the Scenes episode, wherein Joseph Fink and Jeffrey Cranor answer your questions about how we balance horror & humor, what Khoshekh's deal is, and what is Steve Carlsberg's actual relationship to Cecil?
We do 2 of these Behind the Scenes episodes a year (for Weird Scout level and above), and 2 fully fiction Night Vale bonus episodes a year exclusively for our Patreons. Along with director’s notes for every episode, monthly zoom hang-outs, and twice-monthly essays from the two of us.

💯
iOS keyboard options do not currently support the non-euclidean geometry that comprises the alphabet of the Old Ones so I'm unable to fully express my admiration of this podcast.
Welcome to Night Vale is perfectly safe
Listen to this great podcast! You will not be contated by mysterious men in dark suits. They will not take you to an undisclosed location and ask you questions about it that you do not understand. You will be free, and untroubled by dark thoughts and disturbing memories.

Fun and creepy
Imagine the news from Lake Wobegon as seen through the eyes of Stephen King. This funny, entertaining podcast describes the strange events in the community of Night Vale in a wonderful, calm, matter of fact tone, as if every town has dark hooded figures in its dog park. I recommend listening to this late at night with the lights out and imagine you are a citizen of Night Vale listening to a local radio station. But remember, whatever you do, don't go near the dog park.
