Each guest discusses their story of how their lives were turned upside down, by unexpected events. Stories like surviving a car crash, surviving abuse, being paralyzed in an accident, witnessing a crime.. and many more! Luke and Kyle will take an honest, raw, yet positive and hopeful approach, to really find out how these sudden events have effected our guests, and hear about the tools they use to overcome the subsequent struggle and adversity. We will focus on the journey to success and recovery, and hear stories of how our guests overcame trauma, and mental health challenges like ptsd, anxiety depression and phobias that have often lead to addiction, alcoholism, and disorders. While we will focus on the events themselves, and the lasting effects of these moments, our goal in this podcast is to concentrate on the positive journeys of resilience, recovery and hope that comes from these extraordinary stories. Join us for the ride of your life, and other peoples too! Why listen? We hope that our listeners will feel comfort, empowerment, strength and hope through this community of people and the stories we share. S2 EP37: Katherine's Story - My Cancer Journey: Diagnosis to Recovery

S2 EP37: Katherine's Story - My Cancer Journey: Diagnosis to Recovery

Katherine Marie gave birth to her twins at 25 weeks pregnancy, thats's 15 weeks premature! They were approx 1 lb in weight, and survived, although both have learning difficulties. Amazingly this wasn't the trauma or experience Katherine came on the show solely to discuss, it was of course a main part of her story, but she came on to tell us about her Breast Cancer diagnosis, her initial reaction, her fear,s her courage, and her battle to clear the cancer from her body through surgeries, and both chemo and radio-therapy. Now 'free of any cancer in her body' she speaks openly about what her diagnosis meant to her, to her kids and how they all got through!

    S2 EP36: Fran's Story - BONUS After Thoughts

In this after thoughts section of our podcast, Luke and Kyle discuss Fran's story (the previous episode), and what stress and worry can really do to the human body. I think we can all agree that living a stress-free life sounds amazing!? But do any of us really know how to achieve such a thing? Food for thought.

    S2 EP36: Fran's Story - How Stress Caused Auto-Immune And Blindness!

    S2 EP36: Fran's Story - How Stress Caused Auto-Immune And Blindness!

We all live with stress and worry, and some of us much more than others. We have had so many guests on who have discussed ways in which we can control our thinking, lessen worry, live in the present, but of course it's easier said than done! Our guest Fran Garton was suffering so badly with stress that it brought on Fibromyalgia, which in turn brought on a loss of sight! Fran puts this all down to stress and her mental health, that led to a complete breakdown in her physical health. As with all our episodes, we hear Fran’s recovery from her situation, how things changed, and what she did to turn things around. It's an inspiring come-back story with some tips and advice for those who may be suffering with similar stress levels and physical ailments. Thank you Fran!

More power!

So fortunate to talk to Luke and Kyle. They are very genuine and engaging. We truly had a powerful conversation, sharing hard and vulnerable experiences that are relatable with everyone. These two are very compassionate as they shed light on what people deal with in their lives. Also loved that they give a BONUS After Thoughts episode which they reflect and share their thoughts about our topic. More power to your show!
