    The summer of Rodayna's 21st birthday she flew to Egypt to spend time with her father’s family. A few weeks later, her father took her passport when she expressed wanting to return to NYC to be with the man she loved. Over the next few days, she visited a US Embassy in secret to obtain an emergency passport. In the middle of the night, she fled from her family’s compound, removing her hijab as to not be recognized by the guards at the gate when she called an Uber at 3 am.

I so love these inspiring real conversations that Kiersten has with such a diverse group of people from all walks of life.This is one of my ALL time favorite podcasts to listen to,because of who Kierstenis. I am binge-listening to this podcast. I relate SO MUCH to Kiersten. We have a very similar childhood. Kiersten is incredibly well spoken. She speaks truth and light.
