What connects these three albums? – Part 3 The Sonic Collective

Hey all you collectivists out there. This is Scott G from the Sonic Collective. How's it going? We're on round three of our game of "What's the connection between these albums?" I hope you've been enjoying it as much as we have. I've really enjoyed teasing out what the common threads are between the albums Darren and Scott C picked. Hearing what everyone thought were the direct links along with their more nuanced takes.
So I've picked three albums that also have some very explicit connections I'm hoping everyone finds along with the different subleties we'll each key on and share.
This month's albums are, in no particular order:
Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin III,
Simon and Garfunkle, Bookends, and
Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pronounced 'Lĕh-'nérd 'Skin-'nérd.
Now I know what you're thinking, "Hey these albums are practically identical, how are we supposed to pick just a couple similarities???" But I have faith you all will listen along, jot down some notes and join us at the end of the month to hear what the crew teased out too. Until then, this is Scott G from the Sonic Collective signing off.
