A Commuter Listening SigAlert
Dear Mr. Honest,
I’m sorry, but I felt obligated to post a review of this podcast today. As a Marvel fan from back in the day who got looped back in as my children discover the MCU via films. Reignited with such a plethora of titles inspired by comic books, I actively seek out content on YouTube, Podcasts, etc to fill in the holes or serve up some Easter eggs treats that carry me to next week’s episode or upcoming film.
I had to travel into Downtown LA for a work commitment and needed something to pass time on the commute home and pulled up your episode on Hawkeye. Hoping to listen to both parts on my 20 minute plus commute, I decided to give Marvel Maniac a try.
Unfortunately, it took you over 12 minutes of self-amusement, rambling (that you apologized for a couple of times) with film release dates for the MCU it feel like my buddy had gotten high and hit the record button. Sorry to sound harsh but our time as listeners is precious.
You could give a time point breakdown so that we have the option to jump past non-Hawkeye MCU stuff OR split off the MCU release info into its own episode. It drives me nuts when podcasts BEGIN off subject as if you were the reason I tuned in (nothing personal) was for some Hawkeye…
I got home with 30 minutes left on your first episode and no payoff. Don’t think I want to finish this episode and listen on. Ugh.
