    Jesus is the Answer

    Jesus is the Answer

We live in a very needy world today. The greatest need that mankind has today is the forgivness of sins and the need of salvation. Many turn to the world today to try and find an answer for their needy souls but nothing satisfies. Jesus said,  “without me ye can do nothing”. In this Gospel you will hear of a blind man called Bartimaeus who called out to Jesus to meet his need. Jesus was the answer for blind Bartimaeus. Jesus is the answer for you. God sent His son, Jesus Christ to meet the sinner’s need.
    Bible Scripture: Darby Translation
Mark 10:46-52 “46 And they come to Jericho, and as he was going out from Jericho, and his disciples and a large crowd, the son of Timaeus, Bartimaeus, the blind [man], sat by the wayside begging.
47 And having heard that it was Jesus the Nazaraean, he began to cry out and to say, O Son of David, Jesus, have mercy on me.48 And many rebuked him, that he might be silent; but he cried so much the more, Son of David, have mercy on me.49 And Jesus, standing still, desired him to be called. And they call the blind [man], saying to him, Be of good courage, rise up, he calls thee.50 And, throwing away his garment, he started up and came to Jesus.
51 And Jesus answering says to him, What wilt thou that I shall do to thee? And the blind [man] said to him, Rabboni, that I may see.52 And Jesus said to him, Go, thy faith has healed thee. And he saw immediately, and followed him in the way.”

The Forgivness of Sins & The gift of the Holy Spirit

In this Gospel preaching you will hear of two things that God wants to give mankind. These are the forgivness of sins & the gift of the Holy Spirit.
    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
Acts 2:36-38 “36 Let the whole house of Israel therefore know assuredly that God has made him, this Jesus whom *ye* have crucified, both Lord and Christ.37 And having heard [it] they were pricked in heart, and said to Peter and the other apostles, What shall we do, brethren?
38 And Peter said to them, Repent, and be baptised, each one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ, for remission of sins, and ye will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

Ephesians 1:13-14 “13 in whom *ye* also [have trusted], having heard the word of the truth, the glad tidings of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, ye have been sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise 14 who is [the] earnest of our inheritance to the redemption of the acquired possession to [the] praise of his glory.”

    The Need of a Saviour

    The Need of a Saviour

Jesus came into the world to save sinners. We have all sinned and fallen short of God’s glory, but by the wonderful grace of Jesus, peace can be made by the blood of His cross. Have you responded to God’s wonderful invitation?
    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
1 John 1:9 “9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us [our] sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
Luke 7:36-37 “37 and behold, a woman in the city, who was a sinner, and knew that he was sitting at meat in the house of the Pharisee, having taken an alabaster box of myrrh,
38 and standing at his feet behind [him] weeping, began to wash his feet with tears; and she wiped them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed [them] with the myrrh.”

Luke 22:41-43 “41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and having knelt down he prayed,42 saying, Father, if thou wilt remove this cup from me:—but then, not my will, but thine be done.43 And an angel appeared to him from heaven strengthening him.”
Psalms 55:16 “As for me, unto God will I call; and Jehovah will save me.”
2 Samuel 22:2-3 “2 And he said, Jehovah is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;3 God is my rock, in him will I trust—My shield, and the horn of my salvation, My high tower, and my refuge, My saviour: thou wilt save me from violence.”

    Repentance & Faith

    Repentance & Faith

God is looking for two things from you as the Gospel is preached and these are repentance and faith.  The Gospel is a glorious invitiation from God himself and He is desires for you to come into blessing. The Bible teaches us that God is looking for repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
Luke 15:11-23 “11 And he said, A certain man had two sons;12 and the younger of them said to his father, Father, give to me the share of the property that falls [to me]. And he divided to them what he was possessed of.13 And after not many days the younger son gathering all together went away into a country a long way off, and there dissipated his property, living in debauchery.14 But when he had spent all there arose a violent famine throughout that country, and he began to be in want.15 And he went and joined himself to one of the citizens of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.16 And he longed to fill his belly with the husks which the swine were eating; and no one gave to him.
17 And coming to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have abundance of bread, and *I* perish here by famine.18 I will rise up and go to my father, and I will say to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and before thee;19 I am no longer worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
20 And he rose up and went to his own father. But while he was yet a long way off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell upon his neck, and covered him with kisses.21 And the son said to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and before thee; I am no longer worthy to be called thy son.22 But the father said to his bondmen, Bring out the best robe and clothe him in [it], and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet;23 and bring the fatted calf and kill it, and let us eat and make merry”

Acts 16:25-34 “25 And at midnight Paul and Silas, in praying, were praising God with singing, and the prisoners listened to them.26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison shook, and all the doors were immediately opened, and the bonds of all loosed.27 And the jailor being awakened out of his sleep, and seeing the doors of the prison opened, having drawn a sword was going to kill himself, thinking the prisoners had fled.28 But Paul called out with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm, for we are all here.29 And having asked for lights, he rushed in, and, trembling, fell down before Paul and Silas.
30 And leading them out said, Sirs, what must I do that I may be saved?31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus and thou shalt be saved, thou and thy house.32 And they spoke to him the word of the Lord, with all that were in his house.
33 And he took them the same hour of the night and washed [them] from their stripes; and was baptised, he and all his straightway.34 And having brought them into his house he laid the table [for them], and rejoiced with all his house, having believed in God.”

The Grace of the Lord Jesus

The Grace of the Lord Jesus

In the scriptures, there are many characteristics of the Lord Jesus that he desires to share with every believer. In this address, you will hear of the characteristic of the grace of the Lord Jesus and how we can know more of the grace of Jesus.
    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
John 1:14-18 “14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we have contemplated his glory, a glory as of an only-begotten with a father), full of grace and truth;15 (John bears witness of him, and he has cried, saying, This was he of whom I said, He that comes after me is preferred before me, for he was before me;)
16 for of his fulness we all have received, and grace upon grace.17 For the law was given by Moses: grace and truth subsists through Jesus Christ.18 No one has seen God at any time; the only-begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, *he* hath declared [him].”

2 Corinthians 8:9 “9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that for your sakes he, being rich, became poor, in order that *ye* by *his* poverty might be enriched.”

2 Corinthians 11:24-33 “24 From the Jews five times have I received forty [stripes], save one.25 Thrice have I been scourged, once I have been stoned, three times I have suffered shipwreck, a night and day I passed in the deep:
26 in journeyings often, in perils of rivers, in perils of robbers, in perils from [my own] race, in perils from [the] nations, in perils in [the] city, in perils in [the] desert, in perils on [the] sea, in perils among false brethren;27 in labour and toil, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.28 Besides those things that are without, the crowd [of cares] pressing on me daily, the burden of all the assemblies.
29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is stumbled, and I burn not?30 If it is needful to boast, I will boast in the things which concern my infirmity.31 The God and Father of the Lord Jesus knows—he who is blessed for ever—that I do not lie.32 In Damascus the ethnarch of Aretas the king kept the city of the Damascenes shut up, wishing to take me;33 and through a window in a basket I was let down by the wall, and escaped his hands.”

2 Corinthians 12:1-10 “12 Well, it is not of profit to me to boast, for I will come to visions and revelations of [the] Lord.2 I know a man in Christ, fourteen years ago, (whether in [the] body I know not, or out of the body I know not, God knows;) such [a one] caught up to [the] third heaven.3 And I know such a man, (whether in [the] body or out of the body I know not, God knows;)
4 that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable things said which it is not allowed to man to utter.5 Of such [a one] I will boast, but of myself I will not boast, unless in my weaknesses.6 For if I shall desire to boast, I shall not be a fool; for I will say [the] truth; but I forbear, lest any one should think as to me above what he sees me [to be], or whatever he may hear of me.
7 And that I might not be exalted by the exceeding greatness of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn for the flesh, a messenger of Satan that he might buffet me, that I might not be exalted.8 For this I thrice besought the Lord that it might depart from me.
9 And he said to me, My grace suffices thee; for [my] power is perfected in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather boast in my weaknesses, that the power of the Christ may dwell upon me.10 Wherefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in insults, in necessities, in persecutions, in straits, for Christ: for when I am weak, then I am powerful.”
