The Heart Wants What It Wants - Bling Empire (Spoilers!) (Ep. 96)

(Note: This episode was recorded before the mass shooting in Atlanta.)
As further proof the pandemic has caused David to crack, look no further than how he fell down the rabbit hole of the (highly entertaining) Netflix reality series, "Bling Empire." It took a little more convincing to get Eugene to join the watch party but -- to no surprise of long time listeners of this podcast -- it turns out Eugene had a lot to say about not only this television show, but reality TV, relationships, romance, and love. As always, thanks for listening!

    Busy isn't fine (Ep. 95)

    Busy isn't fine (Ep. 95)

Who knew life in a pandemic could be so busy? In this episode, Eugene solves how to use OmniFocus best for him. We also take a bigger picture approach to our To Do lists and think about how we can reduce the overall busyness and stress in our lives, and close with a discussion of who does the grocery shopping for our respective families. As always, thank you for listening!

    Why I Spent Nearly $200 on a To-Do App (Ep. 94)

I (David) am terrible at to do lists. More often than not I can't remember where I put my list in the first place. In this episode, Eugene and I discuss how I've become a new convert to OmniFocus, while Eugene harbors some well founded doubts. As always, thank you for listening!

"We're just weird people, Eugene" -- David's Enneagram (Ep. 93)

In the third and final episode of the Enneagram series, the spotlight turns on David who discusses the unusual experience of being equal parts type 5 (Investigator) and type 9 (Peacemaker). David discusses how he was more naturally an investigator while peacemaking was something he needed to work on, how his types impact his marriage and relationships, and why this combination can lead to both contentment and complacency. We're so glad you took this Enneagram journey with. As always, thank you for listening!

The Euge Abides - Enneagram Helpers (2) and Enthusiasts (7) (Ep. 92)

In part 2 of our series on Enneagrams, we dive deep into types two (helper) and seven (enthusiast). As a lifelong helper, Eugene tells us how his helper type has changed over time for the better, and what he thinks helpers are like in relationships. He also reveals why he may not be as strong an enthusiast as David believes, but also where he wants to direct his enthusiast energy. The next episode will be our last in the Enneagram series (for now) where we discuss David's results. As always, thanks for listening!

David choe podcast was my favorite

Thanks for the podcast. I always look forward to your next podcast. So far your most recent podcast with David choe has been my favorite and second is the Anthony Bourdain one.

Very thoughtful and well-reasoned

Really like the way the host approaches the issue. Unlike numerous other commenters on FB or Twitter, David lays out the issue really well, and gives us a perspective that’s eminently thoughtful and unclouded by overblown emotion. Having said that, he also acknowledges the raw emotions that rest at the very heart of controversial movements like “Black Lives Matter” or its counterpart “All Lives Matter”.

Nice job, and looking forward to more of these soon...
