Best Daily News Podcast

What Next is the best daily news podcast I listen to and I basically listen to daily news podcasts all day. Mary always asks the questions I’m thinking of, and always seems to have the perfect guest for whatever issue she’s discussing. I often learn facts or hear sides of a story that I haven’t heard, even after listening to 10 other podcasts on the same subject!

TBD is a different thing

I really enjoy What Next have have been listening daily for months. I am not enjoying the TBD episodes and will no longer be listening to them. Unlike most other episodes they're sometimes off-topic and fee like you had to force yourself to find a topic, not related to in-the-moment news, and they're repetitive of things I'm hearing in other sources. Usually one of the benefits in What Next is finding a topic that not every other news source is covering!
The seeming increasing number of ads- especially right at the beginning of the episodes- is also really frustrating!

Too many ads up front

I love this show but - coincidentally - on the WN TBD show this Friday it seemed like 90 percent ads in the first five minutes. Maybe that’s your revenue model but it’s off-putting as a listener. To the point that I wouldn’t listen if the ads are still so prominent. Content is really great though!
