I love telling stories. I tell what some would call lies. I have always had trouble distinguishing between what happened and what might have happened. And I remain unconvinced that this distinction, for my purposes, matters. This podcast is a weekly story from my life that I tell as accurately as I see fit.

Episode 134: Strength, Courage and Wisdom

Episode 133: Cathy
Parents are defined as the people the beget or bring forth offspring. Cathy never beget me...but I’d still say she was like a mom.
-

Today I’ll share with you a few nice words about a friend of ours.

Episode 130: Goodbye To All That...Again
I won't lie. I'm fucking busy.
Today is the day that I have to record, and it's already 10pm and I haven't written a word. Therefore you're getting a repeat...but don't worry, it's one of my favorite episodes. I think you'll like it.

Episode 129: The Slaughterhouse
When you work at a slaughterhouse you have to be prepared. You have to wear the proper protective gear, and you have to know that at the end of the day you may be covered in blood.

Enjoyed on Afterthought want more!
I really enjoyed some of the episodes you aired on Afterthought. Been listening to Catching up from the beginning, up to Ep 150. Great stuff it really holds up. Love to hear your WSWCL series too. Thank you, Drew Brooks

Trending...
I just noticed WSWCL was on the trending now list on iTunes. I have been listening for a few years and realized I had never rated it (bad podcast listener!). Sorry. These short stories have an elegant flow and wicked wit I just love! Mike is charming, his voice is soothing and I hope he keeps telling his lies for a long time.
