"The Struggle Made Me Stronger" with Lindsey Hart

Welcome back to episode 12 of What's the Buzz? We hope you're having a wonderful spring!

On this week's episode we interview local stylist and friend, Lindsey Hart of Albany, Oregon. This boss babe is a hard-working mom of 2 who recently switched from working as a stylist (or 'Hair Painter' as she says) in a commission salon, to owning her own business and working independently. Over the last year, Lindsey has had some highs and lows, and shares how she overcame them (while raising two adorable kids) and keeping her business flowing. She doesn't hold back as she discusses the emotional bond between clients, why it is so important to maintain professionalism at all times, how she battled depression and anxiety through a divorce and new business adventure, her journey with therapy, and so much more.

This episode is raw and real, and we hope it is helpful to our listeners who can relate.

    Xoxo,

    Mallory and Kayla

5 Tips to Overcome Difficult Seasons of Life

5 Tips to Overcome Difficult Seasons of Life

We're back to our regularly scheduled podcasting and apologize for the break! Sometimes life can get a little tricky and throw you for a loop, which is what we will be discussing in this episode.

On our 8th podcast we take it back to just the two of us gals back in Ryan's room (this time not in the closet though!) talking about important issues in our lives, and this time the main topic of discussion is self-care. We go over what self-care looks like for us and some of our favorite activities we do for some down time, as well as a list of tips we have found that help us overcome difficult times in our lives and believe could be helpful for you, too!

We know that life isn't always easy, and that sometimes its difficult to see the positive side, but we also know that whatever season of life you are going through, you can and will get through it. That you are strong, you are beautiful, and you are not alone.

If anyone out there needs someone to talk to, we are here for you. You can message us on Instagram at @mallorygilstrap or @stay_lashy.

We also want to know what you do for self-care! Send us a message of what it means and looks like for you!

    Have a great week!
