Olivia Amitrano — founder and creator of Organic Olivia — is leveling up in 2020 with What’s The Juice: a podcast as multifaceted as its listeners. What’s The Juice is an extension of Organic Olivia, which started as a blog but quickly morphed into a fierce community of like minds on a divine path of learning, growing, and healing. Our greatest tools are traditional wisdom, herbal medicine and a brave willingness to explore our own behavior and psychology. Olivia is an herbalist, an entrepreneur, a blogger, and most notably an educator.
Each episode is an opportunity to synthesize her education in herbalism, psychology, and a lifetime of health issues into valuable, tangible tips on how to heal and thrive. Interviews with specialists, doctors, therapists, practitioners, astrologers, estheticians, artists, and storytellers are oozing with raw, human moments and empowering information. Candid, honest, curious, engaged (and in case it isn’t obvious, a Leo), this young woman is on a mission to understand the human condition while sharing both the present chapter of her life as well as the lessons she’s learned getting here. Peeling back the layers isn’t always pretty, but life is juicy and we’re in this together.
POST COVID HAIR LOSS - recovering after fever, stress & immune dysregulation
Post-COVID hair loss has been at the top of my mind after hearing so many experiences from those in the OO community. Today I’m going to share my perspective as an herbalist on how we can support our bodies as we convalesce to help not only our hair but our resilience and recovery in general. We’ll chat about “Telogen Effluvium” (hair loss that shows up several months after fever or infection), how easily our B vitamins get depleted, and why mushroom broth may help with post-infection immune dysregu
WHY BEING THE “GOOD GIRL” ISN’T SERVING YOU – how to break up with perfectionism ft. Majo Molfino
Majo Malfino says that for thousands of years, women have been taught to be “good” instead of powerful. If you’ve ever struggled with self-judgment or feeling shame around your opinions, wants and needs -- then this episode is for you. In her book, "Break The Good Girl Myth," Majo identifies 5 myths we identify with at different levels, including the myth of perfection, the myth of rules, and more.
HOLY SPIT - saliva’s role in cavities, the dangers of fluoride + why diet matters more than brushing
Today’s guest on What’s The Juice, Dr. Mark Burhenne, aka Dr. B. Dr. B is a functional dentist who didn't stop learning after he graduated from dental school. Instead, he chose to study the root cause of dental issues and get super familiar with one part of the body: The mouth. At the core of his learnings is the fact that the state of our oral microbiome directly affects our overall health.
Dr. B’s bottom line: You can’t be healthy unless you’ve addressed your oral health.
WTF IS A VAGUS NERVE? - plus how to test your gut for pathogens & overgrowths
Ever since getting COVID from my dad and experiencing GI symptoms as my main presentation, the microbiome has been top of mind. In this episode, Dr. Steph Canestraro teaches us about optimizing stomach acid production so that you can avoid parasitic and bacterial overgrowths in the first place, and talks about why stimulating your vagus nerve consistently is the key to keeping them away. We’ll also be talking about how gut bacteria can be involved in panic attacks and other neurological symptoms.
GETTING TO THE (BREATH) WORK — Maryam Ajayi on finding her calling through energy healing + breathwork
It’s my honor to share this conversation with entrepreneur, reiki practitioner, activist and breathwork teacher Maryam Ajayi -- founder of DiveInWell. Her website describes her as “half healer, half business woman—all in for changing the world”, and I think this will more than ring true as you listen to the story of how she got into this work and stepped into her power. If you’re looking for permission to trust the signs from the universe... it’s time to press play!
COVID’S LINK TO ORAL HEALTH — Dr. Victoria’s research on the oral microbiome and secondary bacterial infections
Taking care of our mouths is more than just protecting our smile… it about boosting our immunity, protecting against autoimmune conditions, and preventing infection. Since Dr. Victoria has been furloughed during the COVID crisis, she’s dedicated her time to educating herself on the infection. Over the past few months, she’s connected the dots between the virus and common oral bacteria, leading her to create some compelling hypotheses about the role of bacterial superinfection in COVID complications.

All I can say is Olivia is absolutely addicting. Thank you for coming into my life and helping me understand my path.
What did we do to deserve this?
I had been meaning to listen to Olivia’s podcast for a while but I had been behind on all my other podcasts so I felt guilty lol... but on a long drive, I figured why not and after one episode, I just couldn’t stop. I wish I could’ve taken notes because I felt like every few minutes I was receiving bits of gold. Like I said, I had a long drive so I’m sure I devoured about half of all the episodes in one sitting. I’m so grateful for this podcast and truly motivated to work on myself. Thank you!
Olivia is brilliant
Olivia is brilliant beyond her years. She sets the bar so high in this podcast that it makes it hard for me to listen to anyone else. I am a huge fan of her products as well. I can’t live without her adrenal recovery formula. She helped me to rediscover myself and my body’s process. I am forever grateful for all of the knowledge I’ve gained from listening. Anyone who knows me, knows I’m a huge Liv-fan.
