Overwhelmingly good

This podcast dedicated to Young Justice is the perfect companion to the T.V. show. The hosts are all very well spoken and charismatic, but most importantly their love of the source material is infectious. They will do deep dives into characters as well as showcase the writing and plotting of each episode. The hosts then use the show to give advice on how to make your creative ventures better than you thought they ever could be. Finally, their fan showcase is amazing, and helps you feel connected to all of the wonderful people that love this show as much as you do. Subscribe now, you will not be disappointed.

Nightmare Monkey

Guys as always, great show, your breakdowns are always very thorough and entertaining, but I think you all really missed the boat on the Wally West appearance. He really didn’t get much of a mention in your breakdown, but his appearance is so much more than just some easter egg or belated homage in my opinion. You all did mention that everyone on the bridge was dead before, and I definitely think Jason falls in that category. Why not finish wally off instead of leaving him lounging in the captain’s chair. It’s easy to write this off as a delusion or fever dream, but the video playing on the bridge at the time of his “death” doesn’t make much sense since Gar wasn’t there to witness it. Where does that memory come from?

The fact that Wally next voices monkey is an interesting choice, but the thing that sold me was the “conservation of mass” comment. I agree with you all as to how it applies to Gar and Megan, but i think it applies to Wally as well. Energy can not be created or destroyed, just rearranged or changed. Watching his apparent death really looked like matter changing form. Also the lecture he gives Gar, does that not remind you of Wally’s lectures on science.

By now I'm sure you realize I’m a diehard WW fan, but if Greg threw his appearance in just for shock value or to pull on everyone’s heartstrings again, I’d personally prefer that he would not have inserted him at all. With all the mentions of Wally throughout the first part of the season, I really hope this is a YJ version of Chekhov’s Gun

Wally may be gone for good, sadly I have to accept that, but I think it’s worth more conjecture than just a passing thought. If this was the moment foreshadowing became reality, it’s probably worth a little more time and attention and less of Halo and Brions’s creepy budding relationships lol. Anyway it was still a greet review as always. Thanks for all you do, just try not to forget the absent speedster.
